Spiral belt is similar to the Balance Spiral Belt but the coils are very close together and almost parallel to the direction of travel. This latter factor, and the increased weight of metal, product the exceptional strength of this belt. The closeness of the weave is produces a very flat surface which makes it possible for the belt to travel under stationary loads and enables even heavy loads to be ploughed off or pushed on sideways and this belt is also suitable for the handling of very small articles.
